SUSTAINABILITY PROGRAMS AT WESTFIELD VALLEY FAIR

Check out these recycling programs and sustainability initiatives at stores across Westfield Valley Fair.

• American Eagle : Shop their Real Good line - Not just any jeans, Real Good jeans: Made with recycled materials, less water, and higher factory standards.
• Apple: Apple Trade In Turn the device you have into the one you want. It’s easy to trade in your eligible device for credit toward your next purchase, or get an Apple Gift Card you can use anytime. If your device isn’t eligible for credit, we’ll recycle it for free. No matter the model or condition, we can turn it into something good for you and good for the planet. • Cotton On: Cotton ON is brining recycled choices to every category in their store from fashion to activewear, bags to stationary. Look out for the 'Recycled fibers' badge when you shop
• J.Crew: By 2025 their goal is for 100 percent of their key fibers to be sustainably sourced—including 100 percent of our cotton. J Crew always consists of two programs, a resale program in partnership with thredUP and the introduction of J Crew Vintage clothing lines. “The program was born out of our company's commitment and customer demand to redefine the hand-me-down and put an item of clothing back into the circular economy,” Yarbrough said. “Although these programs work separately, they complement one another.” The main sustainability element is the partnership with thredUP, which enables consumers to buy and sell “gently worn” women's and kids J Crew items online. Sellers will receive payment in the form of J Crew shopping credit.
• Lego Store: If you're deciding what to do with your LEGO® bricks when you don't want to play with them anymore, LEGO recommends passing them on to someone else or donating them to a local charity shop. Go to our website, print out a shipping label, box up your bricks and get them to your closest FedEx location. The bricks you send will be sorted and cleaned before being donated.
• Levi's: Gather your Levi’s ® jeans, denim shorts, and Trucker Jackets you’re no longer wearing & book a "trade-in" appointment. They accept up to 5 items per appointment. Upon arrival, check-in for your appointment with a Levi's Stylist who will process your trade-ins. For more details on their trade-in product criteria please visit their FAQs. Receive a Levi’s ® gift card for the value of your trade-in. Please note: they do not provide gift cards for unwearable items but are happy to donate on your behalf.
• L'Occitane: Respect for the environment is at the heart of L'Occitane en Provence. That’s why they’ve partnered with TerraCycle® to provide a collection and recycling program for beauty and skin care products and packaging in their L’OCCITANE boutiques. The L’Occitane Recycling Program allows them to recycle beauty and skin care products to prevent them from ending up in landfills and be used in the creation of new products. Bring in your empties today!
• lululemon - When you trade in your gently worn gear to a local store, Like New will refresh it for someone else. You'll receive credit you can use on lululemon gear. Use your credit and find great deals on gently worn lululemon gear.
• LUSH - Bring five of LUSH’s empty black or clear pots to any of our shops, and they’ll give you a free fresh face mask.
• M.A.C. Cosmetics - Through our BACK 2 M·A·C take back program, M∙A∙C is working to reduce the environmental impact of our packaging by helping to reduce the amount of plastic sent to landfill. Upon returning six empty M∙A∙C makeup containers to a participating M∙A∙C counter or sending via mail, consumers can choose a standard M∙A∙C lipstick of their choosing as a thank you. Please note, Lipsticks provided at no charge cannot be returned or exchanged.
• Rag & Bone - HAVE AN OLD PAIR OF JEANS? LET’S PUT THEM TO GOOD USE. Since 2017, rag & bone has collaborated with Blue Jeans Go Green™ to execute the Denim Recycling Project, bettering the world one pair of jeans at a time. They are running this year-round and highlighting it this month. 
• Steve Madden - On Steve Madden REBOOTED you can sell or purchase pre-owned Steve Madden merchandise. You will receive a credit from any sales you make in the form of a code, available for future purchases. Please note that the seller is not Steve Madden directly, but the customer that listed the merchandise.
• T-Mobile - Bring your cell phone—any make, model or carrier—cell phone batteries, chargers, accessories, tablets and netbooks to any T-Mobile location in the United States to be recycled for free. Trade in your phone. Buy pre-owned- T-Mobile sells millions of phones refurbished to their high standards directly to their customers through their Certified Pre-Owned program. A device trade-in provides you some initial credit to help with a new device purchase or start-up costs like a device down payment, device taxes, or extra accessories.
• Zara - Their used clothing collection program lets you deposit clothes you no longer use into containers found in their stores or quest a donation collection service that they offer to their online clients, in the markets where available. They will make sure the donated clothing arrives at the organizations with which they collaborate, that are in charge of giving them a new life and support the development of projects in your community.
