Westfield Barbie film (rating 12A) ticket Competition

Entry Conditions

a) Entry to this competition can be made between 10:00am on 21 July 2023 and 7:30pm on 22 July 2023 at Westfield London and Westfield Stratford City shopping centres.

b) To be eligible for entry into this competition entrants must:

  • be accompanied by an adult or over the age of twelve (12);
  • have a valid photographic ID for admittance to the film screening;
  • wear attire inspired by pink Barbie or Ken outfits, ensuring that the attired is suitable for the age rating of the screening; and
  • visit the guest services desk at Westfield London shopping centre or Westfield Stratford City shopping centre

c) Only one entry per person Each entry is for a maximum of two (2) tickets. Entries over the maximum number of entries will be void and will not be entered into the competition. No purchase necessary.

d) All entries must be received by 7:30pm GMT on 22 July 2023. Westfield Europe Limited (“Westfield”) cannot accept any liability for any entries which are late, lost, incomplete or rendered unrecognisable.

e) Employees of Westfield, their families, dependants and agents and any other person connected with the competition may not enter.

f) Westfield reserves the right to refuse to accept any entry and/or to select a winning entry at Westfield’s absolute discretion. Entries are subject to verification. Westfield reserves the right to terminate, amend or temporarily suspend this competition and amend these terms and conditions at any time, in its absolute discretion, without prior notice, if Westfield considers it necessary to do so.

g) Failure to comply with these terms and conditions will automatically render a competition entry void. These terms and conditions shall be governed and construed in accordance with English law. Entry to the competition signifies acceptance of these terms and conditions.

h) The competition is in no way sponsored, endorsed or administered by, or associated with Vue Cinemas. Entrants understand and agree that they are providing their information to Westfield and not to Vue Cinema. By entering this competition, each entrant releases Vue Cinema from any action or claim arising out of the competition. Any questions, comments or complaints regarding this competition must be directed to Westfield, not Vue Cinema.

i) Westfield, its agents and commercial partners exclude to the fullest extent permitted by law any liability for (a) any loss or damage arising from or in connection with this competition or with the acceptance or possession of any prizes (other than those warranties or conditions implied by statute and which cannot be excluded); (b) the accuracy or otherwise of any description or illustration of any prizes; (c) any loss, damage, non-availability or late receipt of any prizes or any communication associated with this competition; and (d) any fees, charges, taxes or other costs which the winner may be required to pay in connection with any prize. Westfield further disclaims liability for any injury or damage suffered by the entrant or any other person relating to or resulting from participation in or downloading any materials in connection with this competition. Westfield will not be liable for failure or delay in delivery or performance of their obligations under these terms and conditions in the event of any unforeseen cause beyond its control. Such circumstances shall include, but not be limited to, weather conditions, fire, flood, hurricane, strike, industrial dispute, war, hostilities, political unrest, riots, civil commotion, inevitable accidents, supervening legislation or any other circumstances amounting to force majeure. Westfield is not responsible for any third party acts or omissions for issues of any nature encountered by entrants associated with their entry into this competition.

Prize

a) Ten (10) entries will be selected by Westfield’s guest services team, at their sole discretion, for each of the following screenings of Barbie the film (rating 12A):

  1. 21 July 2023 - Vue cinema at Westfield London at 11:45am;
  2. 21 July 2023 - Vue cinema at Westfield London at 2:30pm;
  3. 21 July 2023 - Vue cinema at Westfield London at 3:45pm;
  4. 21 July 2023 - Vue cinema at Westfield London at 5:30pm;
  5. 21 July 2023 - Vue cinema at Westfield London at 6:45pm;
  6. 21 July 2023 - Vue cinema at Westfield London at 7:45pm;
  7. 21 July 2023 - Vue cinema at Westfield Stratford City at 11:45am;
  8. 21 July 2023 - Vue cinema at Westfield Stratford City at 2:30pm;
  9. 21 July 2023 - Vue cinema at Westfield Stratford City at 3:45pm;
  10. 21 July 2023 - Vue cinema at Westfield Stratford City at 5:30pm;
  11. 21 July 2023 - Vue cinema at Westfield Stratford City at 6:45pm;
  12. 21 July 2023 - Vue cinema at Westfield Stratford City at 7:45pm;
  13. 22 July 2023 - Vue cinema at Westfield London at 11:45am;
  14. 22 July 2023 - Vue cinema at Westfield London at 2:30pm;
  15. 22 July 2023 - Vue cinema at Westfield London at 3:45pm;
  16. 22 July 2023 - Vue cinema at Westfield London at 5:30pm;
  17. 22 July 2023 - Vue cinema at Westfield London at 6:45pm;
  18. 22 July 2023 - Vue cinema at Westfield London at 7:45pm;
  19. 22 July 2023 - Vue cinema at Westfield Stratford City at 11:45am;
  20. 22 July 2023 - Vue cinema at Westfield Stratford City at 2:30pm;
  21. 22 July 2023 - Vue cinema at Westfield Stratford City at 3:45pm;
  22. 22 July 2023 - Vue cinema at Westfield Stratford City at 5:30pm;
  23. 22 July 2023 - Vue cinema at Westfield Stratford City at 6:45pm; and
  24. 22 July 2023 - Vue cinema at Westfield Stratford City at 7:45pm.

b) Winning entries will be selected before the commencement of each of the screenings.

c) Each winning entry will receive a maximum of two (2) tickets to a screening of the Barbie film (rating 12A) at Vue cinema at Westfield London or Westfield Stratford City shopping centre.

d) Winning entries under the age of twelve (12) must be accompanied by an adult to attend the screening of Barbie the film (rating 12A).

e) No expenses incurred in connection with the competition will be paid other than as set out in these terms and conditions.

f) The selection is final and no correspondence will be entered into.

g) Tickets are valid for the Barbie film (rating 12A), at the specified screening time and date, and at Vue cinema at Westfield London or Westfield Stratford City shopping centre only.

h) There are no cash alternatives: the tickets must be accepted as offered, are non-transferable and subject to availability. Westfield reserves the right to substitute a prize or part thereof with a prize of equal or higher value in the event of unforeseen circumstances and/or withdraw or amend the promotion at any time without prior notice.

i) The tickets will be handed to the winning entries at the guest services desk at Westfield London or Westfield Stratford City shopping centre.

j) Westfield reserves the right to request proof of age or identification from a winning entrant before awarding the tickets.

Publicity

The winner(s) agrees to participate in any and all advertising, promotion or other commercial activities relating to the competition and consents and agrees that their photograph, image, likeness and voice may be used by Westfield in all related promotional activity without any rights of prior approval or inspection.

By submitting an entry, entrants are sending their personal information to Westfield who will use this personal data in accordance with data protection laws. Where entrants have consented to receiving marketing materials from sponsors of prize draws, entrants understand that their personal data will be treated in accordance with the sponsor’s privacy notice (not Westfield’s) and that it is the sponsor who is responsible for ensuring that the entrant’s personal data is treated in accordance with data protection laws. Should entrants have any queries or complaints in relation to a sponsor’s treatment of their personal data, the entrant should refer that complaint directly to the sponsor.
