We are working hand in hand with our visitors and all stakeholders in the neighbourhood to achieve our sustainability goals more quickly. Westfield Hamburg-Überseequartier sees itself as part of the neighbourhood. That is why we are involved in the local community.

The people of Hamburg, especially the residents of HafenCity, are close to our hearts. That's why, during our construction phase, we not only repeatedly invited them to talk to us and sought dialogue, but also started to get involved in local associations and initiatives.


Here is an overview:

• Collaboration with local cultural organisations such as Kunst & Kultur in der HafenCity e.V. and arabesques-hamburg e.V.
• Promotion & integration of young talented students together with the Hamburg Kreativ Gesellschaft
• Voluntary service for social & ecological projects such as the renovation of the Kirchdorf e.V. children's farm
