Collection of donations in kind for Ukraine emergency aid
Westfield Donau Zentrum and Westfield Shopping City Süd, together with Caritas, are launching a collection campaign for donations in kind for Ukraine emergency aid - donations in kind can now be handed in at the centre receptions during regular opening hours.
The two largest Austrian shopping centres are intensifying their cooperation with Caritas to support the current emergency aid for refugees from Ukraine. Following the launch of the ‘Stoffwechsel’ campaign last week - in the course of which old clothing can also be converted into a donation for the provision of emergency aid packages - a large-scale collection campaign for donations in kind is now underway. Visitors to both centres have the opportunity to hand in donations in kind directly at the centre receptions. The donations will then be collected by Caritas and taken to the distribution centres. Only donations in kind are needed and collected, such as baby and children's food, hygiene articles for babies, children and adults, milk bottles and dummies, long-life food and feminine hygiene articles.

WHAT IS NEEDED?
- Baby food and infant formula (pack and jar format)
- Baby hygiene articles (nappies, wet wipes, baby soap, toothbrush, toothpaste, shampoo, care cream)
- Milk bottles and dummies
- Long-life food (tinned food, tinned fruit, sugar, flour, tea, oil, pasta, buckwheat, semolina)
- Sanitary towels
- Hygiene articles (disposable towels, shampoo, soap, toothbrushes, toothpaste)
WHAT IS NOT ACCEPTED:
- Electronic devices
- clothing
- medicines
Opening and drop-off times
At Westfield Donau Zentrum, donations in kind can be handed in at the reception desks (upper floor near Thalia and ground floor near the Regenwald pharmacy) from Monday to Friday from 09:00 to 20:00 and on Saturdays from 09:00 to 18:00.
In Westfield Shopping City South, donations in kind can be handed in at the reception desks at Water Plaza (1st floor, near entrance 10) and at Garden Plaza (ground floor, near entrance 5) from Monday to Wednesday from 09:00 to 19:00, Thursday and Friday from 09:00 to 20:00 and on Saturdays from 09:00 to 18:00.
