The Good Festival: A Sustainable Fashion Showcase

from April 29 to May 31

View the fashion showcase, created by Berkeley College students enrolled in the Fashion Merchandising and Management course, “Special Topics in Fashion: Creating a Sustainable Brand" beginning April 29 at Westfield Garden State Plaza on level 1 near Pandora. Each student developed a distinctive brand inspired by their personal passion for sustainability. Garments and handbags have been reimagined from dead stock fabric, fabric mill headers, and design room waste.

Attend The Good Festival and be part of a distinctive panel discussion featuring several student creators. Led by Andrea Kennedy, Lead Faculty of Fashion Merchandising and Management at the Berkeley College Larry L. Luing School of Business®, this panel will delve into how sustainability shapes not only their future in fashion but also the broader future of the fashion industry.

During the event, these students will present their innovative apparel collections on stage. They will unveil the inspiration behind their eco-conscious creations, which ingeniously transform scraps from the cutting room floor into future fashion statements.

Join us on May 11 for a day filled with eco-conscious fun and inspiration. Donate old jeans and bring a second pair to have 'revived', explore eco-conscious brand initiatives and innovative products, admire the sustainable art from Berkeley College students, and so much more! Click here to learn more.
