Accessibility & Shopmobility


You can hire our shopmobility equipment in-centre by visiting one of our Guest Services desks or by calling 0208 221 7359.

For all shopmobility, a form of ID must be provided and left as a deposit with Guest Services, acceptable forms of ID are a Current Passport, Driving License, or a Photo ID. Failure to provide ID will result in you being unable to hire the wheelchair. All wheelchairs are hired on a first come, first served basis. Due to limited stock, wheelchair availability cannot be guaranteed.

If you are driving to the centre, please ensure you leave your blue badge on display in your car. Terms and conditions apply.

Our shopmobility equipment can be collected from our Guest Services desks on the Lower Ground Floor, located next to both Starbucks and Costa Coffee. Shopmobility scooters and wheelchairs are required to be returned by 8:30pm Monday to Saturday and 5:30pm Sunday.

If you require us to meet you at your car, please telephone 0208 221 7377 or 0208 221 7359 (mall opening hours only). Please ensure you have your car registration and car park aisle to help our team get to you as quickly as possible.


Westfield Stratford City has designated accessible parking bays available in each car park. High-sided vehicles up to 2.4m for blue badge holders are catered for in Car Park A Level P1. If you are driving to the centre, please ensure you leave your blue badge on display in your car. 


All of our accessible toilets across the centre are part of the RADAR key scheme. If you do not have a RADAR key please ask any member of Westfield staff, or alternatively you can pick one up from one of the Guest Services desks on the Lower Ground Floor next to Starbucks.

SignLive is an application which enables us to connect with a British Sign Language (BSL) interpreter so that we can effectively communicate with guests who are deaf or hearing impaired. This service is called Video Remote Interpreting (VRI).

Please visit our Guest Services Desks located on the Lower ground floor either at M&S Food Court or Costa Coffee and our team will be happy to assist.


In support of the Hidden Disabilities Sunflower Campaign, you can pick up a free sunflower lanyard to keep from either of our Guest Services desks located on the Lower Ground Floor. The lanyards are specifically designed as a discreet sign for our employees to recognise you may need additional support and assistance whilst at our centre.


Westfield Stratford City understands that guests with additional sensory needs may find visiting our centre a daunting experience.

To help support guest’s visits, we offer sensory packs that have been selected with key sensory items to offer children and adults a broad range of sensory opportunities and therapeutic benefits. The pack has been designed to support people living with a wide range of disabilities who are likely to benefit from sensory resources to make their shopping experience more enjoyable.

Our sensory packs contain items such as ear defenders and sunglasses to help with noise and light sensitivity, fiddle toys to keep hands busy and relieve stress and feeling fans to express how you are feeling.
