Our grand piano is open to approved pianists who’d like to share their music with visitors at Westfield Stratford City.
Whether you’re a seasoned performer or a young musician building confidence, you’re welcome to apply for a playing session. All pianists must be screened and approved before making a booking.
How to book
If you’re new to playing at Westfield Stratford City, email ukwscreception@urw.com with a short video of you playing the piano. Our Guest Services team will review your performance and let you know if you’ve been added to the approved pianist list.
Already approved? Simply email ukwscreception@urw.com to request a session. Bookings are available in one-hour slots and must be made at least 24 hours in advance.
A few things to know
To help keep the piano experience enjoyable for everyone:
- Sessions are allocated in one-hour slots.
- Pianists must have an authorised booking before playing.
- Late arrival may result in the session being cancelled.
- Personal electronic equipment, including speakers, microphones and amplification equipment, isn’t permitted.
- Accompanying instruments and vocal performances aren’t permitted.
- Filming in the centre isn’t allowed unless written authorisation has been granted by Westfield Security.
- Promotional materials, collections, donations and bucket collections aren’t permitted.
- Pianists are responsible for looking after the piano and key during their session.
- Westfield Stratford City reserves the right to refuse or cancel a booking.
