Slumdog Indian was established in 2015. There was a huge desire to create Indian street food for the Edinburgh market. Up until this time, the street food scene was just a shadow. The creators at Slumdog wanted to create traditional Indian food with a twist. Using authentic means of cooking breads in Tandoori ovens and using spices and recipes sourced from Northern India.
