Some of the most distinctive creative languages are built slowly, through repeated collaboration, trust and the ability to listen to one another. Gaetan Judd, Ife Ogunjobi and The Compozers come together to explore the musical relationships that have developed through years of performance and collaboration. The conversation considers how musicians communicate beyond notation: through instinct, rehearsal, improvisation, memory and familiarity with one another's creative language.
What allows a group of individual musicians to begin thinking almost collectively? How does a shared vocabulary develop over time, and how can collaboration continually produce something new rather than simply repeating what has worked before?
The conversation will transition into a live collaborative performance, making that shared musical language audible in real time.

About Ife Ogunjobi: Ife Ogunjobi is a London-born trumpeter, composer and producer whose work draws on jazz, Afrobeat and hip-hop. A member of the Mercury Prize-winning and BRIT Award-winning group Ezra Collective, he has become one of the most distinctive voices in contemporary British music. Alongside his work with Ezra Collective, Ogunjobi has collaborated with artists including Wizkid, Burna Boy and Dave, while developing an acclaimed solo practice that bridges improvisation, storytelling and cultural memory.
About Gaetan Judd: Gaetan Judd is a GRAMMY Award-winning producer, songwriter and musician from West London. Equally at home on stage and in the studio, his credits span artists including Burna Boy, Tems, Wizkid, Ella Mai, FLO and Noname, for whose album Sundial he served as Executive Producer. Known for blending gospel, R&B, jazz and African musical influences, Judd has built a reputation as one of the most sought-after creative collaborators shaping contemporary global music.
About The Compozers: The Compozers are a British-Ghanaian collective renowned for redefining live Afrobeats performance. Formed in London, the group has become one of the most influential live bands in contemporary music, collaborating with artists including Davido, Wizkid, Burna Boy, J Hus and Tiwa Savage. Celebrated for their musicianship, energy and ability to bring new dimensions to live performance, The Compozers have played iconic venues around the world while helping shape the sound of modern Afro-fusion.
