Port des Lumières

Closed today

Port des Lumières is the first permanent immersive art centre in Hamburg and the largest of its kind in northern Germany. It is part of the international network of digital art centres run by the French operator Culturespaces, a pioneer in the field of digital art exhibitions since 2012. Located in the heart of the Westfield Hamburg-Überseequartier, Port des Lumières impresses with its breathtaking architecture and maritime design elements. With an exhibition space of 1,700 m² and state-of-the-art technology, the new must-see of Hamburgs HafenCity offers an unforgettable art experience. The changing exhibitions allow visitors to immerse themselves in the artworks with all their senses. "Gold in Motion" with paintings by Gustav Klimt, an exhibition of works by the artist Friedensreich Hundertwasser and the contemporary work "Journey" by the creative studio Nohlab will kick off the opening in spring 2024. The "Kids Interactive Studio" created especially for children, a completely mirrored "Infinity Room" and a "Selfie Room" round off the exhibition visit and make Port des Lumières a unique experience for young and old alike.
