Westfield Cares

To our neighbors, friends, and visitors:

The #WestfieldCares program began in Spring 2020 and aims to drive awareness about social justice issues and give back to vulnerable and economically disadvantaged groups within the communities we operate. Since its inception, Westfield team members across the country have collectively supported and worked alongside more than 100 NGOs, nonprofits, and community organizations nationwide to help drive awareness and marshal resources for those experiencing homelessness, underprivileged families, seniors, and children.

Our team has been making monetary donations, helping deliver food and other daily necessities, as well as providing educational supplies to children unable to attend school or access online learning tools. We have also been leveraging our shopping centers to support response efforts, including hosting testing sites, vaccination sites and blood drives.

At the same time, our employees have volunteered more than 1,000 hours this year with local nonprofits to give back to those most in need of support.

The #WestfieldCares program has expanded beyond COVID-19 relief efforts with the launch of a new public service campaign in April 2021 that stands in solidarity with the AAPI community to #StopAsianHate and drive meaningful support towards racial equality.

Most recently, our centers across the US partnered with a range of local nonprofits to encourage vaccination rates in local communities. One grand prize of a $100 a week for a year will be awarded every week until October 22, along with four, $500 Westfield gift cards and eight, $100 Westfield gift cards.

Westfield is also partnering with the NALEO Educational Fund and the Conference of National Black Churches (CNBC) to reach diverse communities through a national PSA campaign directed towards those that may be hesitant about getting vaccinated.
