Ceramic motifs appear underfoot and overhead in the most unexpected places, tracing the city’s history in colour and shape. Bouquets of fruit and flowers, wild animalia and sweeping geometry spill across parks, plazas, hotels and balconies — each border a testament to centuries of craft.
