Westfield Century City announces the acquisition of the niche meme account, Americana at Brand Memes.

Century City, CA April 1st, 2025: Westfield Century City, the premier outdoor shopping destination nestled in the heart of Los Angeles, is excited to announce the purchase of the Instagram/Twitter account Americana at Brand Memes. Effective immediately, the account will be renamed and rebranded as “Westfield Century City Memes.” The purchase of the account was made for an undisclosed amount.

Glenn Dale, the Executive Producer in charge of Creative Social Media Strategy and the Director/Producer of Content at Westfield Century City Memes, said, “When I created Americana at Brand Memes, I was shooting for the moon. But today, I landed among the Avenue of the Stars.”

Louis Schillace, the Senior General Manager at Westfield Century City, says: “Americana at Brand Memes has become a Los Angeles powerhouse on social media. After seeing the way they were able to bring Angelenos together to designate the worst parking garage in LA, we knew we wanted to harness that power for good.”

Westfield Century City Memes promises that just because they are now owned by Westfield, it won’t lose its edge. “I’m just excited to celebrate Westfield Century City, and especially its terrific parking lot. It has absolutely no problems and it’s so easy to find your car there. Love it and always have, I don’t think I’ve ever said a bad thing about it (don’t Google it)”, said Dale.

Topics that Westfield Century City Memes will cover: The three-story AMC, the American Girl Cafe, the multiple coffee shops, The Gelson’s wine bar, the spiral staircase, Eataly, The Container Store, the Theragun kiosk, and the Moleskine store.
