Art. Culture. Creativity and an extra-long shopping weekend

Once again this year, we’ll be dancing into May with you. And singing. And laughing. And painting. Because the ARTS ’N‘ ACTS Festival is taking place at Westfield Centro on the first weekend in May.

During the two-day event on 2 and 3 May, the creative scene of the Ruhr region will be showing off its talents and demonstrating just how diverse it is. And because fashion is also a form of art, it’s well worth taking a stroll through our shops to discover the latest spring/summer collections. To mark the occasion, we’re even giving you an extra day of shopping as part of the ARTS ’N‘ ACTS Festival: on 3 May, our 250 shops will welcome you from 13:00 to 18:00 for a Sunday shopping opening.

COLOURFUL STAGE PROGRAMME

Whether cabaret, music or acrobatics: on a total of three stages on the upper and ground floors, a wide variety of artists will be performing every half hour during the ARTS ’N‘ ACTS Festival. Not all of them are seasoned professionals. As in previous years, we have also invited selected up-and-coming talents who will have the chance to showcase their skills to a wider audience for the first time.

CREATIVE HANDS-ON ACTIVITIES

On both days of the event, you can not only admire fantastic art but also get creative yourself. At various workshop areas in our mall, you’ll have the chance to try your hand at working with paint, paper and other materials.
