The École supérieure d’art dramatique de Paris is one of 12 higher education drama schools in France providing training to become an actor.  
It is a Department of the Pôle Supérieur d’enseignement artistique Paris Boulogne-Billancourt (PSPBB) and is therefore permitted to award a Diplôme National Supérieur Professionnel de Comédien (DNSPC) (EQF level 6 qualification in acting). The school's approach is based on notion of the Actor-Creator. It seeks to train independent actors who can start up their own creative products and it treats them as artists from the moment they enter the school.
