It happens countless times every day – a customer receives their perfect drink from a Starbucks barista – yet every such connection is completely unique. It's just another ordinary moment in life. One arm reaches across the counter and hands a cup into waiting hands. But even this moment represents something special. We strive to make that connection felt in everything we do – from our commitment to offering the highest-quality coffee in the world to the way we interact with our customers and communities as a responsible business. Since the beginnings of our company, which more than forty years ago consisted of a single café, we have done our utmost to make every place we visit and every place we touch a little better than before.
