Westfield Garden State Plaza has unveiled a stylish transformation that first began in 2017. The extensive renovation includes fully redesigned common areas, exterior improvements and technological enhancements.
Elements of the project include new soft-seating amenities, interior landscaping, accent painting and lighting improvements, common area heating and cooling systems, state-of-the-art digital media screens, security operations upgrades and a comprehensive upgrade of the IT infrastructure including improved Wi-Fi, way-finding/beacon technology and communication, music systems and digital services for retailers. As part of the project, a new Bistro dining hall and interactive children’s play area were unveiled last October 2017. The project also includes a significant investment in a permanent art collection, which builds on the center’s history and commitment to the North New Jersey community, as well as its ongoing position as a regional cultural hub.
Over a dozen new retailers have opened at Garden State Plaza during the transformation project including Warby Parker, Rituals, Morphe, Charles Tyrwhitt, Innisfree, Tomato & Co, Sugarfina, Nespresso, Bar Louie, Mighty Quinn’s BBQ, Fabletics and Saje Natural Wellness to name a few.
