Zumiez offers eco-friendly tees! This tee shirt is made from a GRS (Global Recycling Standard) certified 60% Recycled Cotton / 38% Recycled Polyester and 2% Polyester fabric. It is ethically manufactured in a WRAP certified factory and printed in the USA using sustainable inks as certified by Oeko-Tex. This process uses less water, chemicals, and energy compared to traditional screen printing.
The recycled cotton comes from scraps and cut-offs in the manufacturing process. By recycling scraps into new yarn, they reduce resources needed to produce this product and help promote a circular economy. The recycled polyester is made from used plastic water bottles. This takes waste out of the environment, reduces use of fossil fuels and better manages water use.
