Kiddy Cars Terms and Conditions

GENERAL TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF USE FOR THE KIDDY CARS AT WESTFIELD STRATFORD CITY

These general terms and conditions of use (hereinafter the "General Terms and Conditions") define rules that should be applied when customer uses the Kiddy Cars in Westfield Stratford City.

When conducting a transaction (rental of the Kiddy Cars), the Customer undertakes to acknowledge, accept and comply with these General Terms and Conditions. The Customer formalizes his/her acceptance by ticking the box "I have read and accept the General Sales Conditions and General Terms and Conditions of Use.” Westfield Stratford City retains and archives under reasonable security conditions the traces of such acceptances which can be produced as proof, which the Customer expressly acknowledges.

Rent of Kiddy Cars is subject to availability and on a first served basis.

Only one child per Kiddy Car at all times (unless the Kiddy Car is a double seater).

Children must remain seated and be securely retained using the belts provided, and be wearing shoes at all times.

Kiddy Car doors must be closed and all the 4 wheels should be placed on the floor during the entire ride.

Children must be over 12 months old, able to sit-up to be permitted to ride in the Kiddy Car.

Height restrictions apply, minimum height is 80 cm and maximum height is 120cm.

Weight restrictions apply, maximum load of the Kiddy Car is 25 kg.

The Kiddy Car must be operated properly and safely at all times, in accordance with the operating guidelines displayed.

The supervising adult must ensure that the Kiddy Car ride is comparable to walking (e.g. with a shopping cart, pram or a stroller) and that attention is taken to avoid contact with other Kiddy Cars, objects or people.

Children must be supervised at all times whilst in the Kiddy Car.

Kiddy Cars may only be used inside the Centre. Kiddy Cars cannot be used on any escalators, stairs or in the Car park.

The Kiddy Cars are allowed on the travelators.

Nevertheless we recommend to use the lifts to go from one level to another within the shopping centre.

The supervising adult is responsible for all costs, losses, and liabilities incurred as a result of any injury or damage to the child and/or themselves and/or property and/or people damaged incurred whilst the Kiddy Car is in their possession (including if the Kiddy Car is stolen).

The supervising adult is responsible for all damages, losses, costs or expenses suffered by Westfield Stratford City and caused by the use of the Kiddy Car.

Any unattended property is left at the supervising adult’s risk and Westfield Stratford City assumes no liability for any theft, loss or damage to unattended property.

The Kiddy Car should be returned 10 minutes before the centre closes.

The Kiddy Car should be brought back in the same condition it is rented.

Westfield Stratford City reserves the right to change these terms and conditions from time to time and without notice.
