Participants’ Terms and Conditions
INTRODUCTION
Please read these Terms and Conditions carefully as they affect your rights and liabilities under the law and set out the terms under which Westfield Europe Limited (“Westfield”) makes the Westfield Future You 25 (the “Event”) and the sessions and workshops at the Event (the "Sessions") available for use.
By booking or being issued tickets for the Sessions (the “Ticket(s)”) or by participating in the Sessions you are deemed to have accepted and agree to adhere to these Event Terms and Conditions and the Future You 25 Ticketing Terms (these Terms and Conditions and the Future You 25 Ticketing Terms, together the “Terms”). Westfield reserves the right to amend these Terms from time to time.
Some of the Sessions may be physically challenging and carry with it risks (e.g personal injury) that we cannot eliminate. Subject to these Terms, participating in the Session is entirely at the participants own risk.
These Terms are additional to and not a substitute for the general terms and conditions of use of our website, which can be found at https://uk.westfield.com/terms-and-conditions.
TICKETS AND ADMISSION
Tickets
Subject to paragraph 2.2 below, entry will only be permitted with a valid ticket for the correct date and time.
A valid Ticket must be produced for each Session.
A valid Ticket must be produced for each Child wishing to take part in the Sessions.
Walk-ins may be accepted on each Event day. However, these will be subject to availability and on a first-come, first served basis.
Entry may be refused if you arrive late for a timed session.
Note that your ticket for entry to the sports aspects of the Event does not grant you entry to other parts of the Events (e.g. Social Ark and Newham Music events). Please check the details of your ticket carefully.
A valid Ticket must be booked by a parent or guardian for and on behalf of any individual aged 18 and under (a "Child") wishing to attend the Sessions. A Child is not permitted to book a Ticket themselves.
All Tickets are issued subject to availability and these Terms.
A Ticket(s) obtained in breach of the Terms, or which in our reasonable opinion is being used or is intended to be used in breach of the Terms, shall be void. This may include you being refused entry to the Sessions or your Ticket(s) being cancelled without notification

Admission
The Sessions are for children and adults between the ages of 12-24 years old only.
A child (anyone aged under 18 may be unaccompanied at the Sessions provided prior written consent has been given by a parent or guardian.
Once the Session finishes, you must leave that Session to allow others time to enter.
All participants (the “Participants”) must adhere to the general rules of use as displayed at the Event and any specific rules of use at the Sessions you participate in.
All Participants must wear appropriate footwear and clothing for the Sessions.
All Participants are responsible and must bring any mediciation they require, including but not limited to asthma pumps, to the Sessions.
Westfield reserves the right to refuse admission to the Event and/or any Session including for health and safety, or licensing reasons or where consent has been obtained, and, in Westfield’s view, that consent may be invalid for any reason.
Westfield reserves the right to request Participants to leave the Event or Westfield shopping centre (the "Centre") at any time and may take appropriate action to enforce this right. Westfield may refuse access to or may remove a Participant from the Event or the Centre who:
in the opinion of Westfield, is likely to affect the safety or enjoyment of other visitors;
has behaved in a manner which is likely to affect the safety or enjoyment of other visitors;
has used threatening, abusive or insulting words or behavior or behaves in a manner which may provoke a breach of the peace, or deliberately damages the Event or any part of or property at the Centre; or
in the reasonable opinion of Westfield, is acting under the influence of alcohol or drugs.
HEALTH AND SAFETY
Westfield may carry out security searches from time to time to ensure the safety of all visitors and you agree to allow yourself and/or your belongings to be searched prior to admittance to the Event in order to prevent offensive or dangerous weapons from being taken into the Event or the Centre.
You must not take any weapons, glass bottles, flammable liquids or any other item that Westfield may consider is dangerous into the Event or the Centre.
Smoking, eating, and the use of photographic and recording equipment and mobile phones are strictly prohibited in the Sessions for health and safety reasons.
You must comply with all relevant safety announcements and regulations whilst at the Event.
LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
Whilst Westfield makes every effort to monitor the experience fulfilled by the suppliers of the Sessions (“Event Supplier”), any liability incurred by the visitor caused by the Event Supplier’s negligence at the Event is the responsibility of the Event Supplier and not the responsibility of Westfield. To the extent permitted by law, Westfield shall not be liable for the death or personal injury of the Participant or third party while participating in the Sessions or attending the Event. Westfield shall have no liability for damage to personal property, consequential loss or expenses suffered, which includes but is not limited to loss of anticipated earnings, profits, goodwill, reputation, business receipts or contracts, losses or expenses, arising in any third party claims against Westfield. You waive all rights of whatsoever nature against Westfield and Stratford City Shopping Centre (no.2) Nominee A Limited and Stratford City Shopping Centre (no.2) Nominee B Limited as trustees for and on behalf of Stratford City Shopping Centre (No.1) Limited Partnership ( the "Centre Owner") and each of their employees, servants, agents, independent contractors or representatives in respect loss or damage to personal property arising from your participation in the Sessions or attendance at the Event.
Nothing in these terms and conditions shall affect any of your statutory rights, which cannot be legally excluded. These Terms are subject to the laws of England and Wales. All disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.
Westfield shall not be liable for loss or damage of any kind whether direct or consequential, including but not limited to travel expenses and car parking fees and/or any other out of pocket expenses.
Westfield does not accept responsibility for any act or default of any third party supplier which is outside of Westfield’s reasonable control.
Nothing in the Terms shall exclude or restrict Westfield’s or the CentreOwner’s liability for death or personal injury caused by its negligence or the negligence of its officers or employees or for any fraudulent misrepresentation.
OPENING HOURS AND AVAILABILITY
Westfield reserves the right to:
change the advertised dates, opening hours and schedule of the Event or any of the Sessions; and/or
close or cancel Sessions or the Event itself,
without notice or liability, where we deem it reasonable to do so.
Westfield will, where possible, give prior notice of any action under clause 5.1 above.
GENERAL
Attendance at the Event does not confer any rights (by implication or otherwise) on you to use, alter, copy or otherwise deal with any of the trade marks, logos and/or intellectual property appearing on the Event website.
We reserve the right to change these Terms from time to time.
Except in relation to any company in the Westfield group of companies, as well as the Centre Owner, who may also benefit from these Terms, no person who is not a party to these Terms shall have any right to enforce any term under the Contracts (Rights of Third Parties) Act 1999.
Enforcement of these Terms is solely at our discretion, and just because we may not enforce some or all of them in some circumstances, this does not mean that we have lost the right to enforce any of these terms in the future.
HOW WE USE YOUR PERSONAL DATA
By attending the Event, you are sending personal information to Westfield who will use this personal data in accordance with data protection laws and our privacy notice (https://uk.westfield.com/privacy). This notice explains how Westfield processes your personal data, your rights, and how you can contact us. Westfield’s data protection team can be contacted at DPO@urw.com.
If you have consented to receiving marketing materials from one or more of the Event Suppliers at the Event, you understand that your personal data will be treated in accordance with the relevant Event Supplier’s privacy notice, not Westfield’s and that it is the Event Supplier which is responsible for ensuring that your personal data is treated in accordance with data protection laws. Should you have any queries or complaints in relation to an Event Supplier’s treatment of your personal data, you should refer such queries or complaints directly to the relevant Event Supplier.
