To mark this important milestone, the brand is launching the Swatch Art Peace Hotel collection: six watches created by six artists from different parts of China, the country that welcomes the resident artists.
Since opening its doors on November 1, 2011, Swatch Art Peace Hotel has been much more than simply a space for artists to live and create. The Swatch Art Peace Hotel collection celebrates the extraordinary talents of six Chinese artists from diverse artistic backgrounds, representing different generations and creative disciplines. Inspired by their time spent in the artist residency and guided by their individual creative visions, they created original works of art that were subsequently translated into Swatch watches.
