Urban parks offer us exactly that, but what do we really know about them? Who calls them home, and how can we protect them? Join us for Earth Day at Wroclavia, dedicated to urban parks and their wild inhabitants.

The event is held under the Honorary Patronage of the Mayor of Wrocław. We look forward to seeing you there!

Wild Encounters in the City

If you’ve ever spotted a wild boar, a hedgehog, or a squirrel in the city, you know that urban nature can be full of surprises! At the Ekostraż Zone, you can test your knowledge in our interactive "Wild Quiz," track down urban animals in the "Wild in the City" QR code game, and discover how our wild neighbors actually live. Learn when to step in and how to help local wildlife—and pick up some eco-gifts along the way. Bring your phone, your curiosity, and join the wild action! 🌿🦝

Adopt a Hedgehog at Wroclavia

Life in the city isn’t always easy for hedgehogs. Ekostraż provides veterinary care and rehabilitation to those in need before releasing them back into the wild. You can support their mission by becoming a virtual guardian to one of their rescued residents. Faraon, Zawojka, Żyłka, and Prochu are all waiting for a virtual adopter! 🦔

Spin into Nature with WWF

Take a spin on the wheel of fortune and take home a gift from WWF. The Foundation invites you to a special zone where you can broaden your horizons and try your luck! Learn fascinating facts about the biodiversity surrounding us, chat with educators, and have a great time.

Follow the Tracks

Take a walk that’s anything but ordinary. Experts from the City Greenery Board (ZZM) will reveal the hidden secrets of urban park nature. Learn to identify animal tracks, spot details you’d usually miss, and recognize the tree species we pass every day. This workshop is perfect for those who love rediscovering the city, park by park. As a bonus, we’ll have a large printed map of Wrocław's parks featuring all the local playgrounds.

Nature in a Jar

Want to learn how to smartly collect rainwater and save water in the city? In workshops led by educators from Odra Centrum, you’ll discover the principles of water retention and eco-friendly habits for your home. Together, we’ll create mini rain gardens and "forests in a jar" using recycled materials, showing how to blend living and non-living nature. It’s an engaging lesson in ecology and creative thinking—and you get to take your tiny ecosystem home!

Create Your Dream Park

Let’s give children the space to dream big! In this workshop, the youngest visitors will design their ideal parks—full of fantasy, color, and ideas that adults would never think of. It’s a mix of fun, creativity, and a first lesson in conscious urban design. Who knows? This might be where a future architect’s passion begins!

Little Creators and Paper Wonders

We invite our youngest guests to dive into colors and shapes inspired by Mother Nature. Together, we’ll create a collaborative mural: a vibrant park filled with animals, trees, and flowers. The session also includes an origami lesson—a wonderful way for children to develop manual skills and find a moment of calm.

Support Our Spiky Friends – Join the Collection

Want to help Wrocław’s hedgehogs? Bring paper towels, nitrile gloves (sizes S and M), newspapers, or absorbent pads to Wroclavia. It’s a small gesture that makes a huge difference in the daily lives of these small mammals and provides vital support for their caretakers.

Fashion Renewed: Donate, Exchange, Discover

Spring is the perfect time to clear out your wardrobe. Bring the clothes you no longer wear and give them a second life. You might even find a new treasure at our "Last Chance Hanger." Look for the SZOT (Textile Waste Collection Vehicle) outside the entrance and say goodbye to unwanted clothes in an eco-friendly way!
