New Gift Cards
The new gift cards have been available since September 2026 at the reception desks at Westfield Centro and Westfield Ruhr Park, or via our online shop.
The Westfield gift card can be topped up once and can be loaded with any amount between €15 and €250. When paying with the Westfield gift card, it is important that you are aware of your available balance. If you are asked for a PIN, simply enter the PIN shown on the back of the card beneath the scratch-off panel.
The new gift cards are valid for 3 years from the date of issue.
Yes. Since the changeover in September 2026, our gift card can be used at both Westfield Centro and Westfield Ruhr Park.
Digital wallets such as Apple Wallet or Google Wallet have their own terms of use, such as a minimum age requirement. The reason for this is that wallets are used for payments and are therefore subject to certain legal requirements (in Austria, in particular, the Payment Services Act 2018). Consequently, younger users (e.g. those under 14) may find that the digital Westfield gift card cannot be added to a wallet. In this case, we recommend using a physical gift card instead.
How to use the gift card
The gift card can be redeemed at numerous shops, restaurants and leisure venues at Westfield Centro and Westfield Ruhr Park. You can find an overview of all participating partners at Westfield Centro HERE. Please bear in mind that, due to technical changes, not all shops will be able to accept the new card straight away during the initial phase.
You can check your balance by scanning the QR code on the back of the card or online.
The minimum amount is €15 and the maximum amount is €250 per card. The card cannot be topped up.
In this case, you can simply pay the remaining amount using another payment method. Please inform the shop of the balance on your card before making the payment.
Lost gift cards should be treated as cash and, unfortunately, cannot be replaced or refunded.

Activating the gift card
If you have ordered your gift card online and received it by post, it must be activated before use. It may take up to ten days for the gift card to be dispatched. You can activate it via westfieldnrw.giftify.me or by scanning the QR code on the back of the card.
Gift cards already purchased (before September 2026)
Yes. Gift cards that have already been purchased can still be redeemed at both centres until their expiry date.
Gift cards purchased before September 2026 can no longer be extended, but any remaining balance will be refunded upon request.
Expired gift vouchers
You can request a refund of the remaining balance on your gift card to your bank account at our centre reception desks. If your gift card has already expired, it is not possible to receive a refund of the remaining balance.
Refunds can be requested using the PayLife form. You can fill this in at any of the centre reception desks. We recommend that you submit the form directly to PayLife (service@paylife.at) yourself, as this usually speeds up the processing time.
Our team at the reception desks will be happy to help you fill it in.
Due to increased demand, processing may take up to four weeks.
Balance enquiry
for Paylife gift cards purchased before September 2026
Paylife gift cards that have already been purchased can, of course, still be redeemed as usual until the end of their validity period.
Please note that it is no longer possible to extend the validity of expired cards. However, the balance on expired cards will be refunded. A form is available at reception for this purpose, which can be completed on the spot. Alternatively, the form is also available online here. It can be downloaded; please complete the fields marked in yellow and then send it to Paylife by email.

It is not possible to receive a refund of the remaining balance on gift cards that have already expired.
