When the Christmas lights come on for the first time at Westfield Centro and a quiet “Ah” ripples through the crowd, it’s the most magical afternoon of the year. This year, the festive ‘Lights On’ ceremony will take place on Friday 13 November.
Once again, the Christ Child will be paying a visit for the grand Christmas Opening. From 5.00 pm, he will officially open the Christmas season at Westfield Centro. The festive spirit will then spread directly from the central dome to our outdoor area. That’s because the tapping of the barrel at the Flachaualm also marks the start of our Christmas market.
Right up until 23 December, countless huts offering arts and crafts, mulled wine and roasted almonds look forward to welcoming you. You can find more information about the Centro Christmas market HERE.
As is tradition, this year’s Christmas Opening will conclude with a spectacular drone show, which will light up the evening sky above the Neue Mitte from 6.00 pm, leaving visitors of all ages in awe.
Join us and kick off the most wonderful time of the year with us.
