14 November | Lights On and Christmas Market Opening
Christmas is in the air
Twinkling lights, the scent of pine trees, children's eyes shining with excitement: the run-up to Christmas is always something very special – here at Westfield Centro too. As is tradition, we will be kicking off our Christmas opening on Friday, 14 November with the contemplative Lights On ceremony in the central dome. We will then be celebrating the opening of our Christmas market with a breathtaking drone show in the evening sky.

5:00 pm | Lights on ceremonyThe Christ Child will be stopping by our central dome to ceremoniously light up our Christmas decorations. It will be accompanied by singers from the neighbouring Metronom Theatre, who will be performing excerpts from the musical ‘The Spirit of Christmas’ to get everyone in the mood for the festive season. 
5:45 p.m. | Tapping of the kegOur Christmas market will be officially opened with the tapping of the barrel on the stage of the rustic Flachaualm. Until 23 December, around 140 wooden huts will be waiting to spoil you with sweet treats, hearty specialities from all over the world and enchanting gift ideas.
6:00 pm | Drone showA spectacular drone show bathes the evening sky above the Neue Mitte in a colourful sea of lights, giving visitors of all ages their first magical Christmas moment of the year.14 November to 23 December
Westfield Centro Christmas Market
Whether it's arts and crafts, mulled wine or tobogganing, every visitor will find what they are looking for at the three Christmas markets outside Westfield Centro. For six weeks, you can round off your shopping trip here in a cosy atmosphere and get into the Christmas spirit.
