Thirty years ago, the Neue Mitte in Oberhausen opened its doors and transformed the whole city. We’d like to celebrate this this summer and invite you to a varied programme of events. You can look forward to plenty of hands-on activities, special offers and loads of live music.

Sharing memories .
Whether it’s your first day of shopping, a family outing or a trip to a concert: at the Mitteldom, all visitors are invited to share their fondest memories of Westfield Centro with us. .

Photo mosaic.
Capture your very own special anniversary moment in our interactive photo booth! We’ll compile all the photos, one by one, into a large photo mosaic. And of course, you’ll also have the chance to print out your snaps on the spot..

Live music on the floating stage .
Over three weekends, various artists will transform the promenade into a stage: every Friday and Saturday from 4 pm to 10 pm, they’ll create a summery festival atmosphere at the waterside stage..

On Saturday 29 August, the Ruhrperle Creative Market returns to Luise-Albertz-Platz. From 1 pm to 10 pm, you can buy unique arts and crafts and fantastic DIY products from 40 regional exhibitors..

Anniversary concert
The anniversary programme will culminate in a major live concert on 12 September 2026, the official anniversary of Westfield Centro. The line-up will be announced on 17 July across all Westfield Centro channels. From that date, Westfield Club members will have exclusive access to advance ticket sales. General ticket sales for everyone will begin on 20 July.
