Thirty years ago, the Neue Mitte in Oberhausen opened its doors and transformed the whole city. We’d like to celebrate this this summer and invite you to a varied programme of events. You can look forward to plenty of hands-on activities, special offers and loads of live music.

Anniversary concert
The anniversary programme will culminate in a major live concert. On 12 September 2026, the official anniversary of Westfield Centro, electro-pop sensation ClockClock and star DJ David Puentez will be rocking the stage at the Rudolf Weber-ARENA.
Tickets for this unforgettable concert, which are in high demand, are available from as little as 20 euros.
Questions and answers about the concert
Yes, small (hand)bags or gym bags may be brought in – provided they are no larger than 30 x 30 centimetres.
Large bags (e.g. shopping bags) and rucksacks are not permitted.
Umbrellas, selfie sticks, folding stools and similar items are not permitted. The same applies to weapons, drugs and fireworks of any kind.
Please also note the Rudolf Weber-ARENA’s house rules, which contain further information on admission and prohibited items.
No. Bottles, tins and any glass containers are not permitted in the Rudolf Weber-ARENA. However, you can buy food and drink at the venue.
Yes, all visitors must go through a security check at the entrance. Please arrive on time and allow for a longer wait if necessary.
Yes, all children aged 14 and over are permitted to attend our anniversary concert on their own, without being accompanied by a parent or guardian.
Admission to the anniversary concert is governed by the provisions of the Youth Protection Act. These stipulate the following rules:
Children under the age of 14 may only be admitted if accompanied by a parent or guardian.
Young people aged between 14 and 16 may attend events unaccompanied until 11.00 pm.
Young people aged 16 and over may attend concerts and shows unaccompanied and without any time restrictions.
