Badner Bahn: Service restrictions during the summer holidays 🚧

From 4 July to 6 September 2026, there will be service restrictions on the Badner Bahn due to modernisation works. During this period, the Badner Bahn will not run between Wien Oper and Inzersdorf Lokalbahn in Vienna.

Westfield Shopping City Süd will nevertheless remain easily accessible: from Inzersdorf Lokalbahn, the Badner Bahn will continue as usual towards SCS and Baden. From Baden, travel to Westfield Shopping City Süd is possible without restrictions.

Here’s how to get from Vienna Opera House to the Badner Bahn towards SCS or Baden:

• From Karlsplatz, take the U4 to Längenfeldgasse, then the U6 to Alterlaa, and continue on the 66A or 67B to the Purkytgasse / Inzersdorf Lokalbahn stop.
• From Karlsplatz, take the U1 to Reumannplatz, then the 66A to the Purkytgasse / Inzersdorf Lokalbahn stop.
• Alternatively, from Siebenhirten on the U6, bus 207 runs directly to SCS and your Westfield Club membership serves as your ticket. Find out more here.
