HOW CAN I BOOK A CHILDREN’S BIRTHDAY PARTY?

Our  Online reservation system. lets you reserve the party quickly and easily, according to your wishes. We’re available to answer your questions during opening hours (Mo-Fr form 1pm to 7pm, Tel: 01/940 99 35). If you have any queries, please send an e-mail to office@kidsentertainment.at.

ARE ADULTS ALLOWED IN THE MAGIC ATTIC CHILDREN’S AREA WITH THEIR CHILDREN?
You are allowed to do so up to the check-in area. Only children between 3 and 11 years of age are admitted from the magic box. The children's area is a childcare facility, to allow adult caregivers or parents to have a rest. Adult caregivers or parents can check their children into the MAGIC ATTIC and then conveniently go shopping for between one hour and a maximum of three hours. An optimal overview of what is on offer in the children’s area can be found here. We’ll gladly give you a guided tour of the children's area on weekdays, but only when visitor numbers are low.

RE PARENTS ALLOWED TO COME TO THE BIRTHDAY PARTIES?
If the party has been reserved, a maximum of 2 accompanying adults may be present at the birthday party.

CAN I BRING MY OWN FOOD OR NIBBLES TO THE PARTY?
We supply all the children with drinks, cake and children’s sparkling wine during the party. You’re not allowed to bring your own food. If you want you can book extra kids meals for an additional charge of € 3,90 per serving and child or snacks for an additional charge of € 2,50 per serving.

MY CHILD HAS A FOOD INTOLERANCE – DO I HAVE TO MAKE THAT KNOWN?
For security reasons, the check-in form contains questions regarding food intolerances and allergies that your children might have. Although – apart from water at the drinking station – nothing is dispensed in the children's area. In that respect, however, it does cover the variety of cake, kids meals and snacks when booking birthday parties.

MY CHILD IS ILL – MAY HE/SHE COME TO THE CHILDREN’S AREA ANYWAY?
You’re not allowed to check a child in if it he/she is suffering from a contagious illness or disease.

WHICH NUMBER DO I HAVE TO DIAL IF I WANT TO CALL THE CHILDREN’S AREA?
Call number 01/940 99 35 to directly speak with the check-in section of the children's area or e-mail office@kidsentertainment.at.

IS THERE A CHANGING TABLE IN THE CHILDREN’S AREA?
Yes – we’ve set up a changing table for smaller brothers and sisters in the wheelchair accessible toilet. Please ask the on-site supervisors at the reception.

IS THERE A PLACE TO STORE PUSHCHAIRS?
In front of check-in, there is an area where pushchairs can be parked for a short time.

ARE BROTHERS AND SISTERS ALLOWED – EVEN IF THEY ARE UNDER THREE YEARS OLD?
No – children under three years of age are not allowed in the MAGIC ATTIC children’s area due to official regulations.

WHY DO I HAVE TO BRING SOCKS TO THE CHILDREN’S AREA?
At the entrance to the children’s area, there is a locker system for the locking of jackets, shoes, bags and skateboards, etc. From the check-in area, kids are just allowed to walk in sock due to hygienic reasons.

WHAT IF I WOULD LIKE TO COLLECT MY CHILD EARLIER?
So that we can reach you at any time and inform you if your child would like to be collected, we keep a record of the telephone number of the adult caregivers or parents at check-in.

WHY DO I HAVE TO BRING THE E-CARD TO CHECK IN FOR THE FIRST TIME?
Due to official regulations, only children between 3 and 11 years are allowed in the children's area. The E-card is used only for making sure that the children are in the mentioned age group. Of course, there are also other ways to prove the child’s age.

WHY ARE CHILDREN UNDER THREE AND OVER 11 NOT ALLOWED IN THE CHILDREN’S AREA?
Children aged 3 years and over are allowed in the children's area. Most are at a stage in their development in which they usually don’t mind staying on their own in a new and unusual care facility. From the age of 12, children are too big for many of the toys in the children's area.

ARE THE CHILDREN IN THE CHILDREN'S AREA LEFT TO THEIR OWN DEVICES, OR LOOKED AFTER ON SITE?
Depending on the number of children expected, between 2 and 7 supervisors are employed in the children's area.

HOW LONG CAN MY CHILD STAY IN THE CHILDREN’S AREA?
Children can stay for between one and three hours. Please collect your children on time, about 15 minutes before the next full hour, because the next hour must start exactly from then.

HOW MUCH DOES IT COST TO LEAVE CHILDREN IN THE MAGIC ATTIC?
€5 for every child and hour commenced. For all Westfield Club Members the price is reduced to €3 for every child and per hour. (you can register for the Westfield Club for free directly in the Magic Attic or here.) Each child can stay for up to 3 hours. 

CAN I PAY BY BANKOMAT CARD IN THE CHILDREN’S AREA?
Yes - from an amount of at least € 10, - you can pay directly with ATM at the magic attic. The next cash machine is located on the floor of the main entrance to the children’s area towards Saturn at the entrance to the garages, baby-care rooms and toilets.

DOES THE CHILDREN’S AREA PROVIDE MY CHILD WITH DRINKS?
Yes – a drinking station has been set up in the MAGIC ATTIC. There, the children are well supplied with fresh drinking water.

MY CHILD DOESN’T SPEAK MUCH GERMAN. ARE THERE SUPERVISORS WITH KNOWLEDGE OF FOREIGN LANGUAGES?
Your child needs be able to speak and understand German or English, otherwise we unfortunately won’t be able to look after your child.

WHAT TRAINING DO THE SUPERVISORS IN THE CHILDREN’S AREA HAVE?
The director of MAGIC ATTIC of the children’s area is Christoph Rumersdorfer – a trained educator. All other supervisors are pedagogically trained. However, our facilities are equivalent to temporary child day care facilities and not to educational institutions.

IS ROBERT STEINER ALSO PRESENT IN THE CHILDREN’S AREA?
Robert Steiner is the operator of the children’s area and is occasionally at the MAGIC ATTIC. We apologise however, if he is not always available to meet and speak with you.

WHAT ARE THE OPENING HOURS OF THE MAGIC ATTIC?
The children’s area is open from Monday to Friday from 1pm – 6pm. Saturday from 10am – 6pm. Closed Sundays and on public holidays (the exception being December 8). On official school holidays, the opening hours are from 11am to 7pm.
