Candace Kristin's February Style Blog

Its February! Time celebrate the Chinese Spring Festival, Lunar New Year and LOVE, with Valentine’s Day.  Just when you thought this winter month was going to be a boring one! The Chinese New Year is perhaps the most important and elaborate holiday, time to finish out the old and welcome the new year. 2021 is the “Year of the Ox.” It is traditional for giving gifts to express respect and affection. Gifts should be wrapped in customary colors red, gold and orange.

You know Valentine’s Day is quickly approaching when you start seeing conversation hearts and velvet boxes filled with chocolates on drug store shelves. Valentine’s Day is a celebration of love and an opportunity to reconnect with your loved ones and make them feel special. Celebrating one or both of these February holidays? No worries, I have scoured the center looking for perfect gift ideas for both celebrations.
