A Study of Fire Pop-Up Series
The hottest event of the fall is coming to Eataly Los Angeles: A Study of Fire. This chef-studded pop-up event hosted on our wood-burning Italian grill, Terra will feature three extraordinary experts showing off their craft in the art of fire-filled dishes - from barbecue to open-flame cooking. The once-a-month dinner series will kick off on September 22 with the beloved Kevin Bludso, followed by Argentinian Chef Norberto Piattoni on October 20, and pop-up pitmaster Rebecca King on November 17.
Fire has always been central to our Italian marketplace’s rooftop restaurant - and with this series, each monthly event will show off a unique cooking style. Combining the kitchen’s main staple – the wood-fired grill – and Eataly’s passion for uniting the community, this culmination of chefs and cuisines brings a whole new type of pop-up to the west side.
Each participating chef will conceptualize a selection of wood-fired creations that will be offered as a one-night-only special, alongside Terra’s dinner menu. A portion of proceeds from every chef collaboration will benefit Restaurants Care, an established emergency assistance fund for California restaurant workers year-round.
A Study of Fire series officially launched this past April with sold-out events in collaboration with Executive Chef/Owner Charles Namba and Co-Owner Courtney Kaplan from Echo Park neighborhood restaurant Tsubaki, and then continued with husband-and-wife team Vanessa and Alejandro Silva from cult-favorite L.A. taco pop-up Metztli Taqueria. Terra at Eataly is ready to welcome a whole new round of Los Angeles diners with this next season of chefs.
