If you're driving to the centre from the north you’ll find the best path to be:

Take the M6 South onto the M42
Then junction 7a onto M6 which becomes the M1, head for London
Leave M1 at junction 6a onto M25
Leave M25 at junction 10 following signs into Guildford on the A3
Head for Guildford town centre

If you're driving to the centre from the east you’ll find the way is:

Take the A11 heading for London
Continue onto the M11
Leave the M11 at junction 6 onto the M25
Come off the M25 at Junction 10 on to A3 sign posted for Guildford
Follow the signs to the town centre

If you're coming from the south the easiest route is:

Take the A303 to London
Merge onto the A30 London bound
Join the M3 heading for London
Leave the M3 at junction 4 onto A331
Continue on to the A361 following the signs for Guildford
Head for Guildford town centre

From the west, the quickest route is:

Take the M4 signposted London
Leave the M4 at junction 10 on to the A329 sign posted Bracknell
Take the A322 sign posted Bagshot
Continue on the A322 to Guildford
Follow the signs to Guildford town centre
