STRATFORD CITY

Pupils in Newham’s schools are the future residents, workers and visitors of Stratford City. The Stratford City Education Project, led by local teacher Paul Cannons, has been working with Forest Gate Community School to produce a range of curriculum materials for all Newham’s secondary schools to use. These materials will help young people understand more about Stratford City and how they can get involved. From 2008, a number of new schools including primaries are getting involved. Projects planned cover a broad range of curriculum areas including Business, Languages and Design Technology.

Additionally, Westfield have been working with Discover, a registered charity based in Stratford that provides creative play and learning opportunities for children, to ensure that local children are listened to and can participate in the development.
