In the heart of the Black Country, Waterfront is an ideal place to stop en route from the Staffordshire and Worcestershire Canal to Birmingham or vice versa.
Facilities at the Waterfront pontoon moorings include water and electricity hook-ups plus use of the British Waterways’ Sanitary Station, which includes Elsan, refuse disposal and shower and toilet facilities.
The pontoon moorings can either be reserved in advance or booked on arrival.
Pre-booking
Advance bookings can be made and paid for at Merry Hill’s Tourist Information Centre either in person or by phoning 01384 487911 or 01384 487912. You’ll then receive a PIN number with your booking confirmation giving you access to the pontoons. On arrival, please moor up at the pontoons and make your way to the Waterfront Security Office, to collect your welcome pack.
Booking on arrival
Booking on arrival can be made by phone or in person at Merry Hill’s Tourist Information Centre during opening hours. Upon arrival outside of these hours please report to the Waterfront Security Office who will take details of your booking and pass them to the Tourist Information Centre at the first available opportunity. Guests will be responsible for making payment when the Tourist Information Centre is next open.
