Retailer Utilities
A number of utilities are being provided including condenser water, electricity and cold water. Please find information about each of these below.
Each retailer will be contacted by their designated Westfield contact to discuss their requirements for each of these utilities.
Note - This information must be read in conjunction with the Westfield London Fit Out Guide, April Edition 2008.
Power Supply
An incoming power supply will be provided. Please ensure you discuss your load requirements with your Westfield RPM at an early stage so we can ensure the correct supply is available.
Condenser Water
Each retailer will be provided with a connection to the Landlord’s condenser water system. You need to provide adequate cooling and heating pumps for your unit. The Landlord’s condenser water system is the primary source of heat rejection/heat input. Each retailer should select equipment suitable for this application within their demise.
Cold Water Supply
Each retailer will be provided with a single cold water portable supply. The size of the supply will be either 22mm or 28mm depending upon the size and use of your unit.
Data & Telephony
For more details about data and telephony, please see the document below.
Fire Alarm
An interface is provided for you to connect your fire alarm panel to. This must be commissioned and tested for correct signalling to our main panel prior to being made live. Please contact your RPM/RDM to discuss this process and ensure the compatibility of your panel with our system (make and model proposed).
Sprinklers
A suitable sized capped supply will be provided for you to connect on to. We will also provide the lock-off valve and flow switch.
Gas
Natural Gas will be supplied to A3 units only and will be terminated with a blanked isolating valve.
Fresh Air
Primary air is transferred into each shop unit from the mall, with exception to the A3 units on Eat Street and Southern Terrace.
