Westfield has been in the retail industry for almost fifty years, and we are passionate about this dynamic industry that provides thousands of people with job satisfaction and career progression. The construction of Westfield London will bring 1,000 jobs to the area, rising to over 7,000 once the centre is open in late 2008.

For some time, Westfield has engaged with a number of stakeholder groups to provide resources to promote local employment and training in conjunction with Jobcentre Plus, LSC, local colleges, and others.

We will continue to work closely with the London Borough of Hammersmith and Fulham and relevant government agencies to develop long-term employment and training initiatives, directly related to key retailer requirements, focusing on the training and recruiting of local people.
