You can create your registry at any Pottery Barn store nationwide or online at potterybarn.com. Within 24 hours of setup, your registry will be accessible. If you choose to create your registry online, we encourage you to also visit our stores for the best selection and to build the most comprehensible registry. Monitoring and making changes to you registry is simple at any of our stores, online 24 hours a day, or by calling 888.779.5176 to speak with one of our Associates. Your registry will reflect updates within 24 hours.
Complimentary Registry Announcement Cards
We provide complimentary registry announcements cards that can be included in party and shower invitations to let guest know you’ve registered at Pottery Barn. You can order additional cards at any store or online. Or, if you like, we can notify your friends and family where you’ve registered via email.
Convenient Shipping
We offer nationwide shipping services. You’ll have the option of choosing different shipping addresses for before and after your event, and you can revise that information at any time.
Thank-You Note Organizer
An online list of all the pottery Barn gifts you receive with names and addresses of gift-givers make it easy to keep track of thank-you notes. You may also request a similar list at any Pottery Barn store.
Control of online access
You can choose how much access others have. “Unlimited Online Access” allows anyone to view your registry and shop for you on line. “Password-Only Access” requires shoppers to have a password supplied by you. Select “No Online Access” so that only you and your co-registrant can access your online registry. No matter which you choose, your personal information remains confidential, and your registry will be accessible in our stores nationwide. Friends and family can track online purchases by visiting potterybarn.com.

Exchanges and Returns
If for any reason you would like to return or exchange one of your gifts, you can bring it to any Pottery Barn store. Our Associates will be happy to issue a merchandise credit or help you choose an alternate gift. If you would prefer to return your packages through the mail, simply refer to the instructions on the packaging slip or call 888.779.5176 (4:00 am to 9:00 pm PT. 7 days a week. After your event, as a special thank-you, we invite you to enjoy 10% off any items remaining on your registry when you purchase them in a single transaction.
Monitoring your registry
By checking your registry periodically, you can ensure that family and friends always have plenty of choices available in a variety of price ranges. Make it a point to update your registry before and after engagement parties and showers. As the date of your big event nears, check it again to be certain you have enough items on your registry.
Seasonal Items
Some items that we sell are seasonal, and therefore, available only for a limited time – usually 6-8 weeks. These items provide a great way to reinvent your décor and give your home a fresh look with only a few simple changes. If you register in one of our stores, ask an Associate which items are seasonal. To make sure that everything on your register is in stock and available for purchase; consider registering for seasonal items when your event is only a few months away. Then check on their availability periodically. If they haven’t been purchased, you may wish to purchase them yourself and add new items to your registry in their place.
Gift Wrap
We offer complimentary gift wrapping in our stores. Gift Wrapping is also available online or by the phone for a small charge.
