Westfield Bondi Junction is Westfield's global flagship centre, which set a new international benchmark in shopping centre design. Launched mid-2004, Westfield Bondi Junction quickly established a leadership position thanks to its unique architecture, premium ambience, retail mix and innovative shopper services. Affluent Eastern Suburbs shoppers rapidly adopted the centre, and it achieved turnover well above expectations.
The centre features over 500 retailers, two supermarkets, two department stores and a 2,000 seat Event cinema complex.
Westfield Bondi Junction’s designer fashion precinct offers two floors of fashion including international brands Chanel, Coach, Jimmy Choo, Hugo Boss, Karen Millen England, Paul & Joe, Polo Ralph Lauren and Louis Vuitton. The centre is also home to leading Australian designers such as Alannah Hill, Arthur Galan, Bettina Liano, Calibre, Farage, Leona Edmiston, sass & bide and Zimmermann.
The food and restaurant precinct enhances Westfield Bondi Junction as a lifestyle destination. The restaurants offer magnificent Sydney Harbour views and showcase a diverse range of choices including Bondi Pizza, Kam Fook, Kelly’s and Max Brenner. The fresh food precinct has respected retailers such as Norton Street and Laurent Pattiserie.
The homewares precinct includes eminent retailers such as David Jones, Hart & Heim, a flagship Harvey Norman, Myer, entertainment specialist Ordio, kitchenware specialist Plenty, T2 and top3 by design.
Lifestyle offerings include an 11-screen Event cinema, including two Gold Class theatres and a full-service Fitness First Platinum gymnasium. The centre also offers valet parking and Handsfree ShoppingTM. Offering four levels of entertainment, bars and food, The Eastern Hotel has been completely refurbished; re-establishing Bondi Junction as an after-dark destination.
Westfield Bondi Junction is jointly owned by Westfield Group (50%) and Westfield Retail Trust (50%). Westfield Centre Management manages the centre.
