Finance


Westfield’s Finance department is a key support function for the entire business and operates in four core divisions:

  • Corporate Finance focuses on financial accounting, compliance, treasury and cash management. Other key responsibilities include group reporting, forecasting and valuations.
  • Shopping Centre Management provides financial support to centres to ensure the delivery of business objectives. This support includes accurate statutory and joint venture reporting, rent invoicing and collection, and managing a tenant database.
  • The Development, Design and Construction team provides financial analysis of all projects from inception to completion. The unit works with Construction to financially manage contracts and commitments, and collect fees.
  • Group Tax provides strategic tax advice ensuring overview compliance for VAT and CIS with HMCE, while lodging tax returns for various entities and monitoring capital allowances.
