Westfield takes great pride in supporting numerous national and international
non-profit organizations which include universities, think tanks, hospitals, health and safety organizations, educational programs, schools and scholarship funds.

In the United States, Westfield has helped raise tens of millions of dollars through its Together We Work Wonders outreach program. Over the years, this program has helped thousands of non-profit organizations, charities, schools, hospitals and youth groups across the nation. Beneficiaries include the Multiple Sclerosis Society, the Red Cross, Save the Children, the Special Olympics, St. Jude Children's Research Hospital and UCLA's Jonsson Cancer Center.

Westfield also works with the communities it serves by leading the way in green building techniques, technologies and materials, designing shopping center environments to reduce consumption, encourage sustainability and advance environmental responsibility.

Westfield's sustainable business practices focus on four key areas: 

• energy consumption reduction and management;
• the pursuit of renewable energy;
• resource conservation through recycling and green procurement; and
• water conservation programs.

Westfield is a member of the US Green Building Council and is committed to participating in and supporting its Leadership in Energy Efficiency and Design programs.
